Linking an Email to a Contact record

When you send an email to a contact, you can enter the email address we provide into the bcc field. The contact will not see this and we will receive a copy of the email. In processing the email we will look for all records with that email address. Each contact record will have the email stored in their record.

When you receive an email you can forward that into your database. When forwarding an email you received the subject should start with "fw" or "fwd", this tells the system to look in the body of the email address for the "to" and "from" fields of the email that is being forward and process the email with those addresses.
